Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled
After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.
Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

The new forum software is an upgraded version of what came before, it's mostly the same but also a little different. Hopefully easier to use and more stable than before.
We are learning together here, so please be patient. If you have questions, please post them here. If you have worked something out and can provide an answer,

theres 2 types of caps which you get 3 of each. one type has 2 clippy bits, and the other has 3 clippy bits. the caps come folded out flat, and you have to bend them and clip it together over the ignition leads and conduit.
first time round, we got them the wrong way around, and they sit all crooked LOL.
just note which caps go where when you take the stock ones off.

but a 100ml of water is not gonna get up my feed pipe, and over say 100-150mm gap between the end of my pipe and into the mouth of my intake.
even when i high pressure wash the front of the car, no water is at the end of the pipe.

Took it for an emergency wash when I got home as my girlfriend's parents had come over and done some gardening, and her father had whippersnipped the front nature strip, spraying dirt and grass clippings all down the side of my car!! I don't think the paint has been damaged, but daylight will tell. I think I managed to get it off before the clippings had really dried on there. I'm grateful that they helped us out with the gardening and all, but...

Had the 12 month service, only 11,000k.
Barloworld GW, perfect service, Golf VI comfortline TDI/DSG loaner.
Cost was $244 and I supplied my own Penrite Enviro+ 5W-30 oil.
No problems with the car, no error codes found in the scan. LHS tyres both 1mm more worn than the RHS tyres (swapped front to back at 6,000k).sigpic
