I don't think anyone "enjoys" carbras, but there are those (me in this list) who like to protect their investment, which is why I use mudflaps & a carbra, until such time as designers can design cars that don't need them (particularly on Interstate trips).Originally posted by Satanstoenail View PostGood work. Mudflaps are for those who also enjoy car bras.

Off topic Maris but I dont think an uncolourcoded Caddy van needs a car bra!!! Hope that wont be the trend in the future as the grey front lets them down.Originally posted by WEDEL.1 View PostI don't think anyone "enjoys" carbras, but there are those (me in this list) who like to protect their investment, which is why I use mudflaps & a carbra, until such time as designers can design cars that don't need them (particularly on Interstate trips).

I think Car Bras are awesome if you need to protect your car.Originally posted by WEDEL.1 View PostI don't think anyone "enjoys" carbras, but there are those (me in this list) who like to protect their investment, which is why I use mudflaps & a carbra, until such time as designers can design cars that don't need them (particularly on Interstate trips).

I remember reading a thread about someone applying a clear bra onto their Jetta.. That's something i'd seriously consider as it doesn't change the overall appearance of your car!2002 Volkswagen Bora V5 - 2007 Mazda 3 GT - 1998 Ford Contour Sport - 2010 Volkswagen Jetta 2.0T - 2013 Volkswagen Passat 130TDI - 2015 Ford Escape 1.5 - 2016 Subaru WRX - 2018 Volkswagen Golf R Wolfsburg Wagon

I drove my new GT TDI (new to me at least) 400km after picking it up last night.

It's hard to drive home on that first drive, isn't it?Originally posted by benno View PostI drove my new GT TDI (new to me at least) 400km after picking it up last night.

You wish you lived further away from the dealers...
Luckily for me my first drive home was from Melbourne to Adelaide.

Understand may not be to everyone's taste; although they are functional for my needs.. Thule aero bars and Thule BA 594 (side arm, downhill bike carrier). Due to my bike frame its the only one that fits!

Booked mine in for a service, and was informed that it's due for a 60k major! $950ish at Essendon VW! Argh. The new(er) car learning curve just got steeper. Previous owner mentioned nothing about this of course, even when I asked him specifically. Anyone know if I have any other options here or do I just bite the bullet? I've got the 3 year extended warranty and I understand that dealer servicing is a condition.

I think it would take more than roof racks to spoil the looks of an R32Originally posted by Nathan_B View PostUnderstand may not be to everyone's taste; although they are functional for my needs..
