If you don't mind me asking, how much did you pay for the Zenec? They're certainly interesting, but I thought the were pretty expensive? Like, RNS expensive?MY10 Golf Mk6 103TDI DSG Candy White | Revo Stage 1 ECU Tune | 18" Talladegas | GTI Front/Rear/Exhaust | R LED Taillights | GTI Steering Wheel | VW Discover Media | Focal IFVW Front Speakers | Mk7 Climatronic Panel |

Following on from my DISC issues.
Now the Disc button does not work anymore.
So to make it play CD's/DVD's you need to press the media button to get to play a cd or dvd.
I suggest those who have not or do not use cd's or dvd's to try it and use it to make sure it isn't faulty.MKV Sportsline Soot Belcher

Thanks for all the answers guys. I would love to wait for the DNS to be fully ready before making up my mind, but it seems it could be 2 weeks like 6 months until then so...
Another thing about the low BT streaming quality reported in the spreadsheet, do you guys all have this issue or is this hardware related and only appears on some units?

I've had it on both units (Preproduction and Production).
I feel like its a software issue though, as if it's not being correctly compressed/decompressed/decoded or something, I can't imagine it's a hardware thing since it should use the same BT module as all the other units. My Eonon unit in my Prado, for example, is crystal clear.MY10 Golf Mk6 103TDI DSG Candy White | Revo Stage 1 ECU Tune | 18" Talladegas | GTI Front/Rear/Exhaust | R LED Taillights | GTI Steering Wheel | VW Discover Media | Focal IFVW Front Speakers | Mk7 Climatronic Panel |

Where did Sandy go?
Not to put words in his mouth, but Sandy's upcoming wedding is probably taking up a lot of his time
Aaaaanyways.
DNS is working pretty well for me now, with Sygic, bugs list is dwindling, only a few things left to deal with (chiefly BT Playback/MFD stuff, I couldn't care less about the CD issues though lol). Still yet to see their media library thing, who knows.
Andy's unit, i've long suspected, like kwalsh's, is probably defective, he's had issues that I've never seen *shrugs*MY10 Golf Mk6 103TDI DSG Candy White | Revo Stage 1 ECU Tune | 18" Talladegas | GTI Front/Rear/Exhaust | R LED Taillights | GTI Steering Wheel | VW Discover Media | Focal IFVW Front Speakers | Mk7 Climatronic Panel |

As far as I can tell, a lot of bugs have been squashed, but there still are some missing features/bugs remaining. I'm pretty sure we're never going to get a fix for the CPU/iGo bug - I think we should just note that the DNS series is just not compatible with iGo, and that using Sygic Drive is the fix.
Can you please specify what CPU/iGO bug have you detected? I would be more than glad to share my iGO version with you also...Last edited by tangucho; 15-08-2014, 12:26 AM.

If you go back a few pages you'll see all the discussion. Basically, I went through many many different versions of iGo (Various builds of iGo8/Primo1/Primo2/Primo2.4) with Australian maps, in many different configurations (with and without TTS, memory caps etc etc).
The main issue with iGo was that it caused the entire unit to lag/slowdown in navigating (specifically when the 3D map was drawing). Easy to prove. Play a song from SD/USB, simulate a route in iGo and try and change the volume or skip to the next song, it will lag, and the next song will not start playing until you either minimize iGo, go to a menu or stop the car/navigation. As far as we can work out, the CPU/OS on the DNS just doesn't like iGo, for whatever reason (partly due to WinCE6.0 not being able to use the second core fully). At this point Audiosources really should just note that iGo is incompatible with this unit.
No issues at all with Sygic Drive 8.5 now, though, zero lag and volume/track changes happen instantly.MY10 Golf Mk6 103TDI DSG Candy White | Revo Stage 1 ECU Tune | 18" Talladegas | GTI Front/Rear/Exhaust | R LED Taillights | GTI Steering Wheel | VW Discover Media | Focal IFVW Front Speakers | Mk7 Climatronic Panel |

Thank you for your prompt answer.
I am NOT having issues with iGO Primo 2.4. To be honest with you, I get the files from a GPS fan page and thepiratebay.se and went for some days of test and error until I´ve found a stable version.
I will test the unit following your instruction to see what happens. But as of today I havent had any issues.
Well, one minor issue. When I connect the GPS antenna the unit takes the satellite hour and time, and seems that there is a conflict between iGO time provide by the satellite and the unit. Once the GPS antenna is connected the time of the unit goes one day and one hour forward and cannot be set back until I disconnect the antenna. Any clues?
Do you have a link to download Sygic Drive and benchmark vs my version of iGO (that I willing to share with all of you of course).

Re your clock issue, it'd be because the WinCE internal clock is set to the wrong time. You'll have to use a tool to get access to the system settings to change it, can't provide any links for you a the moment though, sorryMY10 Golf Mk6 103TDI DSG Candy White | Revo Stage 1 ECU Tune | 18" Talladegas | GTI Front/Rear/Exhaust | R LED Taillights | GTI Steering Wheel | VW Discover Media | Focal IFVW Front Speakers | Mk7 Climatronic Panel |
