Only way forward is if Audiosources was able to move to WinCE7/8, or Android, but i've asked the question half a dozen times and they ignore it, as if I didn't ask it. Our (Sandy and me) suspect that their engineers are young and probably don't want to touch WinCE7/8/Android because its not what they know, even though WinCE7/8 should be essentially the same.
    -----------------------------------------------

They do have an Android unit
    Called AS-9001

    audiosources.net/products.aspx?TypeId=50033&FId=t3:50033:3

Also my S600 is working very smoothly now, music and a heavily loaded Primo2.

    • Hello.

Does anybody knows if DNS610 have the voice call option using the button on the wheel of a Tiguan?

Also it happens that I have two devices connected to my Bluetooth. Is there is a way to use navigation arrows on the wheel to select the contact on the agenda to make the call?

You mean voice recognition/control? Nope, no third party unit does. Edit: Actually, I lie, I'm fairly certain the Zenec unit has some sort of voice recognition feature, and the new Dynavin might too, I dunno though.

On the phonebook thing, don't think there is, I know you can switch between devices on the BT screen, but I doubt this functionality has been built into the phonebook in the MFD.

        • Isn't it time for someone to do the humane thing and put this thing down. It's unfair for sandy to tout for business with weekly sales updates, and then when the product proves to be faulty he is no where to be found.

          • My unit can't seem to remember the time. Anyone have the same issue?

The preset radio station doesn't seem to work as well. Frustrating...

              ???

I assume you're talking about that the on-unit time keeps setting itself to a different time zone. You'll have to change the time zone in WinCE using a tool like total commander. It's set to China (GMT+8 ) for whatever reason.

No clue about your preset radio station problem, you'll have to give us more information than 'it doesnt work as well'.

No... The time keep stuck at 2008-01-01 even if I've set it...

The problem with with radio is, when i turn off the car and turn it on again, i try to switch to another preset station, the station doesn't change...

Strange. Neither of those issues with mine. What software are you using?

What versions specifically? May firmware was pretty rubbish from memory.

                      Latest stable is:

                      BSP: BS9.H.32.0616
                      MCU: DNS810.140729
                      MPU: DNS810.2Jul14.32.VW.V19

                      Get Here:

                      Latest Firmware (06/07/2014)
                      迈腾7.2.rar_免费高速下载|百度云 网盘-分享无限制

                      and use this MCU:
                      Latest MCU (29/07/2014)

Or, you know, you could read the spreadsheet we have setup for it....

Yup. Be warned though, hearing from others who had 610s, for whatever reason, they had way more issues than the 810s. Not sure why but I never saw any issues on my 810 like others did on their 610. So YMMV.

                              • I've copied the files into the Sdcard. Then i boot it up, and insert the card into the gps slot. It prompts if you want to upgrade the firm ware. After hitting yes, the progress bar runs and it completes. It shuts down then. Then now the lights at the cd rom area starts blinking. And it doesn't start anymore.

I've unplugged the unit and plug it back in. Now the lights don't blink anymore, but unit still doesn't start. Please help.
