Purchase OEM sliding window - cost
I see lots of references to the OEM windows costing a log more than the alternatives. It appears that a decent non-oem sliding window is about $600 from Just Kampers, but does anyone know what the VW OEM one actually costs?
Alternatively, are there any aftermarket options that have a flush...

This is a stock standard 2010 sliding seat. This part is on either end of the adjustment lever for sliding the seat. Acts as a restrainer/stopper when not broken.
Noticed that when sliding the seat back, this part was fouling on the battery under the seat. When I took the seat off I could see...

Door Problems - Looking for Advice
Just wondering if anyone has any advice or can suggest a possible cause/remedy for a faulty sliding door. Our MY12 Highline Mulitvan has electronic sliding doors. The right (driver's side) door refuses to shut; repeatedly opening until it is held in place near the rear slide arm.

T5.2 Sliding Door - Outer Handle not working
So the outside handle on the passenger side sliding door (ie the one the kids have yanked at for 6.5 Years) has given up the ghost. The inside handle works fine so I'm guessing that there is a cable/rod connecting the handle to the mechanism.
Does anyone know anything about how to fix...Last edited by The_Hawk; 09-01-2017, 03:59 PM.

T4 sliding door rattle
Hi all,
We have a T4 2.5TDI LWB syncro. Over time and particularly after a trip to Lake Eyre in SA the sliding door has become a rattler. I think that the "receivers" (to give them a name) that hold the door when it is closed are worn. Once closed the door is able to move...
