I want to remove the FL drive shaft so I can put on a new CV joint.

My Q is: as I'm rotating the drive shaft to get access to the gearbox end bolts, being a 4Motion, can the back wheels be left on the ground so it can rotate??? I'm unsure as never done the on a AWD...

Hi, I have a mk7 golf R and had the engine light come on today. I took it to where I get the car service and they said the error was coming up as camshaft position sensor short to ground. Guy wasn't really sure about it and said would have to bring it back and leave it with them to look into further....

Does anyone know for sure that the new Tiguan R line can have a towbar? Also does anyone have any details on the ground clearance for the R Line model?

Mate has an R and needs it towed to mechanic, if he puts it in neutral can it be towed with 2 wheels on the ground? Or is a flatbed a necessity?

Our driveway is a normal one - not particularly steep or tall at all, small step up from the gutter (measures 50mm). No other car has ever scraped its nose on the driveway, but Polo does. Also scrapes reversing out at snails pace. Also scrapes on shopping centre driveway. No problems with various speed...
