Congrat's. Can you tell us what you get with the suspension upgrade (and the cost?), and was there any underbody protection available. I reckon you'll need at least a fuel tank guard, if this means you're planning much 'off-road' work.

Spings and shocks upgrade $790.
Don't know what it is, but probably a higher load rating, much like my ex ambo van.
I asked about alloy guards (though I don't intend to go offroad) dealer could not find
them. Though I found pictures of them on the German VW ofiicial website. I can always
add them later, but this one should be staying onroad - the 4Motion is for our wet crappy
roads and mountain ranges.

NEW Multivan on the Ship

Hello All.

Joined this forum several months ago, mainly lurking in the background, researching for our purchase of a VW Multivan, also our first VW. I must say, I found as many on the forum have stated , that it is difficult to find a dealer that meets with your customer service expectations including VW Aust who are not great at suppling information either.
It really is down to the individual Salesperson you get on first contact. However, thanks to the recommendations on this forum we ended placing our MV order with Wes Bond. He has been a pleasure to deal with so far, knows his product , was straight forward about prices and delivery.

We can now see our MV is on the Ship the "Undine" . currently in port Southampton UK coming around the Cape via reunion to Oz. Should be fun tracking its long journey to OZ ETA Port Kembla 10/08/2011

The Iphone 4 does work with my T5GP factory premium bluetooth kit.
I was told by the dealer that the 3GS doesn't work with the kit.

Mine worked as soon as I turned on the phone and entered the code into the phone.

No way it's the premium kit, has to be the standard bluetooth. I have it and it will not work with 3GS or 4

No....Mine is the Premium kit. not the standard. It has the 3 buttons in the overhead console, etc. The official paperwork has the Premium kit on it.
Do you have the latest OS on your iphones? or just the standard OS that came with the phones?
Many have the premium kit and it works fine with the iphone 3gs and 4.

We have the Premium kit as well. Pairs perfectly with my wife's 3GS and with my 4. Does not pair at all with my work Blackberry.

I have an iPhone 4 and 3GS
None of this works to pair the phones. iPhone has no rsap Bluetooth.
Page 42 of the controls and equip book says:

•mobile phone with rsap
•Multi function steerig wheel
•3 button module
•display in combi instrument
•radio or radio nav system.

Best get them to replace the Bluetooth control module with another. Does any other BT phone work on your car?

Do you mean another premium kit like mines faulty or the standard kit? They want 1100 to change it to the standard kit but if it's the premium not working then I would like it replaced, but all the documentation they have have states positively that iPhones will not work with the premium kit.
