Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled
After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.
Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

The new forum software is an upgraded version of what came before, it's mostly the same but also a little different. Hopefully easier to use and more stable than before.
We are learning together here, so please be patient. If you have questions, please post them here. If you have worked something out and can provide an answer,

What did you do to your Polo today?

They're the old wheels from our red polo on the banner at the top of your page.
About 15 hours of paint stripper, wet & dry in 400, 800, and 1200, and a bit of autosol polished up the lips beautifully. They were then powdercoated clear.
A friend of mine painted the centres for nix. It's Ford Bionic off the BF MkII Falcons.
Rubber is Briddgestone Adrenaline RE001 215/40/17. Probably a little more profile than required, but I do alot of interstate highway driving and a bit of sidewall never goes astray. Should help the inaccurate speedo too.
Wheel specs are 17x7.5 ET35.

Got it from Liquid ICE on ebay... pasted the link but it didnt work .. just do a search on the ebay site for item number 160388939362
ive heard a few of the guys on here have had postage issues with them, but it was the only mob i could find that had the kit for the polos with the RCD200 fitted, so i gave it a shot, and it came in about 3 weeks (bit of a wait but the end result was good)
ended up costing me a tad over $25 landed at my doorstep
I do have a spare fascia here if u want it, but hoppers crossing is prob a bit of a hike from springyMY07 Polo GTi

Cheers ssman
i emailed mike at awesome-gti a few time to make sure this was the correct part for the Pog [Awesome > ECS Stage 1 Clutch Kit (228mm) 5 Speed]
Hopefully when i get around to fitting it to the car its the correct one...
i ordered the 14 pound single mass flywheel cos im not too worried about gear rattle, hopefully some good g/box oil will reduce the noise

But why didn't you ordered it directly from ecs ? Volkswagen Golf IV 1.8T > Drivetrain > Clutch > ES#125 VW Stage 1 Clutch Kit (228mm) With Light Weight Steel ECS 14lbs Flywheel, 225-275hp - ESR198031S1
it seems a bit cheaper...

I only ended up with 2 of them because when i ordered the one i have here, i thought it was the wrong one, so when the fascia kit arrived, i saw that both of the fascias were the same lol
