Thanks again for all the info Sambb.. spoke to the exhaust guys and they reckon the gasket is reusable 99% of the time, so I've crossed my fingers and gone for it. Also spoke to prestige performance and they say all should be good with a software update. So cautiously optimistic again!

They're naturally aspirated, not much can be done without serious coin... buy the mkVI Golf R instead... Though the engine/exhaust note almost makes up for it.

Even still I could tell he knew what was under the bonnet of both cars and assumed he would have been the faster one out of the two. And I agree, the sound it was making was unreal, even at idle they have a great tone

Agreed Dan! My mate dropped his jaw when I raced against his Magna which he has done a 3.8L Mitsubishi 380 engine conversion in. Was dead even until end of 3rd gear. And mines I guess what you would call not full stage 2 yet (I called it stage 1.5 lol) as I dont have a front mount and running lower timing. Will be good to finally get the front mount on.

Also my stubby antenna came today so my car no longer looks like a toy car
