Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled
After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.
Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

The new forum software is an upgraded version of what came before, it's mostly the same but also a little different. Hopefully easier to use and more stable than before.
We are learning together here, so please be patient. If you have questions, please post them here. If you have worked something out and can provide an answer,

What did you do to your Polo today?

The intention would be to stop the car "unfolding" across the tunnel when one side of the car is vertically loaded (ie the outside wheels supporting most of the car's weight in a corner). Dunno how much it would help, off hand.
Maybe we could coax one of the Malaysian Polo owners (nikinaz?) to comment.Resident grumpy old fart

Yesterday and today I replaced all four disks and pads with Brembo Max disks and Brembo Sport Track Road HP pads.
I replaced the dog-bone mount bush which was totally stuffed with a Powerflex Polyurethane bush.
Installed a Forge DV008 with the yellow spring.
Installed a Seat PD160 intake hose.
Didn't get a chance to install boost gauge or intercooler.
Lots more work to do but it's starting to feel alot better already.

Warning - the fitment with the Ultra Racing stuff isn't 100% spot on (on the front brace I had to drill out the bolt holes as they were two small and grind a few mm off the mounting points to get it to sit correctly, the rear required some rater large washers to get it to sit flush as the holes are massive!)
But now I can three wheel everywhere due to the added stiffness (on the track, going up driveways)

Yeah, I've seen that before. In saying that, I'm fairly certain my stuff is legit...it looks identical to the one that is marked as "real" and has the identical serial number and barcode stickers etc.
It even had an engraved UR metal sticker that would be pretty damn hard to fake...never know though haha. Also the ebay seller was a power seller with 99.x% positive so that gave me some reassurance.
