I'm looking at options for this - where is the gauge positioned in the car and where did you feed the line through the firewall?

Just behind the steering wheel for now. I fed the line through the passenger footwell (through the rubber grommet). You need to be a contortionist to reach the line when it comes out in the engine bay down below the airbox. For wiring I used the ciggie lighter illumination and ground. Can put up pics if that helps
A tuned polo creates a lot of hot air, an exposed pod filter sucks in that hot air (less oxygen) and then makes less power. Experiences vary, but I did a bit of testing around this and keeping engine air away from the induction is the best option IMO.
The PD160 is still the best option, a pod filter and a little bit of custom playing or a 1/2 airbox filter is good. There are a few threads on the topic and a few posts in my thread, let me know if you cant find them (use google to search the section, the search function on this forum is pretty useless).
