Too bad. I've just bought mine. It's the newest car I've ever owned, but that's not the main reason I love owning it!When I bought my GTi around two years ago there were a lot more people in this section. looks like most of the enthusiasts have moved on...
Intending to hang on to it for a while, probably keep it (mostly) original, and take care of it. I might have to chip it, just a little bit. And maybe upgrade the tyres and brakes, when it comes time. If I end up chipping it, I might have to look at the Seat intake. Shouldn't have to worry about the intercooler. Not in NZ.2007 VW Polo GTi, white, standard. First registered in Japan, imported to NZ 2010. Owned since Dec/10. Love at first drive.

Try and get the part number off Tim and then order it through vw, alternatively buy it through Vag Link and install it yourself. It takes about 2 seconds to fit it. Just pull the old one out and clip the new one in.Originally posted by Tarq57 View PostYep, tried dubaddiction, would have been superb. Unfortunately they're out of stock, and the owner advises that it is unlikely to be renewed, due decreasing demand.

Definitely try and get it through Vag Link they've always been reliable and from memory that was where I purchased my Cubby from as Tim didn't stock them in those days.Originally posted by Blitzen View PostTry and get the part number off Tim and then order it through vw, alternatively buy it through Vag Link and install it yourself. Thanks for the advice/support chaps. (Or chapesses, if applicable.) Already ordered through vaglink, paid for, and will be awaiting delivery.
Looks like it will be just the right size for a wallet, packet of 'baccy, and some sundries.2007 VW Polo GTi, white, standard. First registered in Japan, imported to NZ 2010. Owned since Dec/10. Love at first drive.

I find they're very useful for smallish items like my GPs + mount + charger, torch, tyre pressure gauge, knife, multi tool, etc. I thinking of getting a pair for our Golf.Originally posted by DeanB View PostIt doesnt hold much, I chuck my wallet in mine, pack of gum, it won't hold a lot,Resident grumpy old fart
