Love the skirts and 2 tone rear bumper. I guess all texture had to be sanded out prior to spray?
Cheers
Nope they went 2 coats of candy white then one clear almost no sign of the texture at all.
The side skirts are nasty to fit took about 2 hours for them to pull them off and ened up destroying the old ones in the prosses.
The old doulble sided tape is strong, and the plastic is weak.
well, i TRIED to get it serviced at sydney's newest vw dealership (not naming names). I get a call 5 mins after i drop it off "oh sorry, we've never done a polo gti before, we dont have the parts for it"

Better than them keeping it for weeks while getting the parts in.
Awesome mate. Once up to temp the bite is incredible. Coming up to a set of lights I put the brakes on forgetting that the greens were in there, and it threw both me and the girlfriend forward in our seats. There's no apparent brake fade either, the pedal feel is really good. All this only after about 60km of driving.
Also, not a sound has come from them, no sign of squeal. Maybe it's because I took the car to an industrial street and bedded them in properly. Up to 60km/h and then firm on the brakes. I did that about ten times up and down the street.
Now, just like Stuwey last time, suffering from lack of brake response while waiting for the parts to settle down. Sigh
Still is mate. Looking at upgrading the rear pads to match my rear red stuffs, possibly then the rotor/caliper to TT spec stuff to even out the hydraulic-to-mechanical ratios.
If not that, then a change of brake master cylinder.
It pulls up bloody hard, but the rear is still very light and not as 'sure-footed' as it was when standard. Not sure if i like it or not.
