Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

The new forum software is an upgraded version of what came before, it's mostly the same but also a little different. Hopefully easier to use and more stable than before.       according to my trusty vernier it is 27mm diameter. I looked around for ages for something to fill the hole and ended up using a blind grommet as a temporary measure until i find something *swish* like a gti badge or a german flag emblem

        Got V2.

        So much smoother - my blad tyres didn't even let go... but it still feels as quick, if not quicker to 70km/h (stupid traffic).

          wait til the settings are adjusted properly.....it gets better .

              i got VW 906 (POG) however i have given up explaining 906 to other people i just tell them i thought the numbers were cool

              and it was so frustrating driving home, just waiting for a dry day to go and have a good run.

                  got my SEAT intake in the mail, installed it and was surprised by the effect. My main concern wasn't for power but to get rid of the jerkiness on pedal liftoff when the turbo is boosting. And it just did that. The jerkiness has been dramatically reduced. No comment on noise as i don't see much difference (car is stock btw) but its definitely smoother. Will take it for a longer drive tonight and see how it has changed overall since ive only taken it for a short spin after installing it.

                    Won't do too much on a stock, but works well with the chip.

                    I didn't notice a big difference in noise, but there is a little more

                      but it drives a lot smoother now. I love the jerkiness sometimes but its not fair for the passenger heheh

                              Love the skirts and 2 tone rear bumper. I guess all texture had to be sanded out prior to spray?
