9w7 Bluetooth kits back in stock @ vag-navisystems from spain USD$249 + Post
This is a great price, I'll be looking at getting this as well.
Has anyone else bought from him before, I think I read somewhere that a lot of people have purchased from him. Spanish guy yeah?
I also sent him a message and he seems like a very reasonable guy he mentioned this is a promotional price and has a few of them available.
Yep, I just bought one from him. To go in my 2011 Multivan with RCD 310. He was great to deal with, I asked lots of questions first and he responded to all of them. I opted for the middle level shipping ($50 I think). It was literally shipped within hours of purchasing and was delivered within 4 days. The unit went in fine, worked immediately but I think I'm going to mount the mic behind one of the blank button plates on the dash as I don't know how to get the wire up to the overhead lights. I'm going to Volkspower to get it coded for the MFD. Hope this helps.
I can agree with that, he is a great bloke to deal with (marc).
I actually went back to him and have ordered an OPS retrofit kit which he assures me will be plug and play and not a cheapo kit that is out of a skoka or such like. Go with Marc and you cannot go wrong I say!

If you're in need of any 6n1 parts, odds are that I am going to have them (dismantling 2 at the moment)
I also recently purchased a bluetooth kit from the spanish seller.
Got it fitted behind the head unit, apparently there is room in the back if you remove the head unit cage.
the model number of my device is 7P6 035 730 F, and i am currently using my iphone 4. Disappointed that I can't change tracks on the unit, I'm currently driving around shaking my phone to go to the next track.
So there is no software updates out there or anything i can do that will allow me to have integration with my BT audio streaming?
also I'd like to note that i found the sound quality of tracks so exceptional compared the the usb i was using prior to the install.

Same here, I was told that its an issue with the RCD510 being used, but like you, i suspect it is the BT module being used is not compatible with the BT streaming as we would know it (advanced AD2P). There was another thread that talks about the 3C8 xxxx unit that works fine for streaming, bu i figured i have it installed now, im not going to worry about it. If I really cared that much, I guess I could always find the right BT unit in a kit and just swap the units over and sell the 'kit' for a lower price to reduce the 'hit' as it were, but that requires effort

Yeah same here, I must admit that I find I use the SD card more than Bt anyway.. Load an 8/16/32 gb card up with music and you're set

I installed one BT advertised here on Saturday and despite it being a complete pig of a job, the BT streaming works fine with track skipping on my 3GS.
Getting the mic switched on, on Saturday so fingers crossed that goes a lot more smoothly.
Spotify works a treat with the 9w7, until you drive into a tunnel
