The kit cOmes with everything u need yes, a few zip ties I guess if u want to secure things but other than that, no
My Car(s): 2011 6R TSI Comfortline (Pepper Silver),
If you're in need of any 6n1 parts, odds are that I am going to have them (dismantling 2 at the moment)

      Cheers,

Sounds a lot more reasonably priced than $800 + fitting

For sure, and if you install the module in the dash, you should get change out of an hour.

ck question to anyone with this and an Android phone (I have the SGS2), does Bluetooth streaming work for all apps on the phone (i.e. Podcast app, Online Radio apps, etc). I think it does but will double-check just in case.

The big question is which one do you get:

              Porównanie produktów

They all have very different product codes but look almost the same. Yet The newest one doesn't list the feature where you skip bluetooth songs via the steering wheel, but I think someone said that it does in fact have that feature. Although I can't remember now.

The Spanish one I bought for my 77TSI 6r doesnt allow BT Track changing, it just shows BT AUDIO on the RCD510 and then u have to cOntrol via the iPhone..

That would be the same for all bluetooth streaming devices.

                    What product code is yours?

Incorrect, some of the new ones have this feature now (depending on what phone you have).

See the red text on this one:

I get the track info and am able to change tracks via steering wheel or the rcd510 interface using the 9w7 purchased from bluewagen. Might be a functionality restriction driven from the rcd510 version

The RCD510 code is 5K0 035 190 (no RVC connection)
BT code is as per my posted pic on page 3 being 7P6 035 730 F

in semi related news, i reported that the address book when displaying entries is all garbled. Marc from vag-navisystems said that its a firmware fault on the RCD and that the dealer has a fix for it, but may not know anything about it, so i would need to push for it. I won't bother as i realistically never use it anyway, i just use the 6 presets, its good enough

Does voice recognition work on RCD510?

Yes, does with the BT and Rcd510 combination I refer to above. I disabled it though as I prefer the button as a mute
