hey Gumpf, i've got and eta of 30 of September as well, though my dealer has advised that it may go into the first week of October. Hopefully it will be quicker turnaround times over there in Brissy.

Picked up mine today. After a short (and lucky) 2.5 month wait, (and as many have said before) it is so worth it. The dealer even gave me a $400 voucher star shots glamour thingy. Maybe i can use it to take pics of it? Hehe. Anyways just to sum it up in two words. Das Auto.

Congratulations babs. As the days go by you will find your love of your Polo will just increase. I've had mine for just under 3 months and still get a thrill from driving it.

Polo GTI orderd

Ordered my gti this afternoon. 5 door in black, audio upgrade, bluetooth, sunroof, comfort pack and window tint!
Looking at feb delivery and have been assured that it will be a 2012 make. Thought about the leather but i figured the sun from the sunroof on the leather wont be that good and i hate it when it starts to lift and crack - and seeing its only leathertte i figured it wont last as long as i would have liked, not for the $1900 price tag.

Cant wait... thinking i might install a RNS510.... unsure yet, will see how happy i am with the RCD510.

Been over a year since i bought my polo, it only grows on you more and more.

If you take care of that which takes care of you the road is yours! (wash it, get it detailed half yearly or yearly)

That's a short time frame for you compared to the rest of us.....
How confident is the dealership on this ETA, considering two I spoke to recently have said they are now telling any new customers at least 12 months on any new orders, and VGA have said any orders placed around my order date back in June would go into production in Jan with delivery expected in April.

When you say a 2012 make, do you mean model as opposed to build?
I believe they are already classed as 2012 models now, can't remember what week this happened but someone on here could verify this, but if you meant 2012 build date, surely that would be near impossible if you are taking delivery in Feb?
Is this someones cancelled order by any chance?

Anyway, well done and congrats, hope it comes to fruition as you've been advised
