Yes for a CC you'd need an ACC ABS module (either a B7 non-ABS modded to ABS, or an already ACC-capable module from a wreck) plus the mounting bracket.
Need the radar module, mounting lugs and screws, front solid badge and adapter ring, wiring harness.
Need a gateway with extended CAN interface, and the 6 way cruise stalk.

Kamold, how do you find the ACC? even though it is going on two years for me I am still not a raving fan where before I had the car I thought I would be.

        Love it.
One of the best mods I've done.
Makes highway driving very low stress. To the point where after my wife eventually agreed to try using it she asked to use my car to drive to Canberra because it was much more relaxing.
That's a win in my book

I use it for over 90% of my driving because I don't live in the metro area and I have found I drive in the outside lane more because of its behaviour in highway traffic. I always avoided driving in the outside lane with CC just flicking it in and out with the controls but the controls on the Tiguan for ACC are a pain to use where the Skoda so intuitive you did not even have to think about. I suppose if the controls were easier to use I might have a different view.

If you cannot see the ABS unit on diagnostics there is something wrong.
Check the eeprom is ok and correctly installed.

                      Hi Kamold,
I recently purchased a MY10 R36 wagon and found that all the Adaptive cruise control functions weren't turn on when I checked with my VCDS cable. After following your coding instructions I can get the ACC to respond to the stalks but I get ACC fault on the MFD and doesn't work. My wagon looks like it has all the goodies from factory. Can you please help as I've been at a loss to get it running. Thank you in advance.

                        What is the actual fault?
Note that my retrofit was with B7 (3AA) parts and yours being factory fitted is 3C0.
The coding is not the same as the 3C0 version does not support follow to stop for example.
Please post the actual fault code ideally in a full autoscan from VCDS.

I can't give any technical input, but as I have factory fitted ACC I might be able to help from an operational perspective. Can you turn on the Front Assist on the MFD? Can you activate the cruise control from the stalks? Occasionally I have had an ACC fault on the MFD but when I restart the car again it has gone and the ACC works normally.

I had to activate the Front assist functions in VCDS by playing around with it and now it appears in the MFD with a check box. When I tick it the message comes back as Assistant fault on the screen. I will upload a full autoscan later on this evening. I find it strange that all the ACC and front assist functions were all turned off even though the hardware exists on the car. Thanks again.

They might have been disabled because there is a fault...in order to not display a fault on the car at time of sale...

That's an interesting thought. For me it was the exact opposite. The (non VW) dealer who sold me my R36 didn't know it had ACC, I only discovered that it was fitted after I bought it! It is a fantastic feature to have.
