I'm interested in doing something about my cluster - either repairing my PCB or doing a swap. I'm in Sydney, so logistically it is a bit tricky - was hoping Kamold (Julian - who I know) could help, but he doesn't seem interested. Probably easy to email or speak to you over the phone to work...

Do you think the solution is to change the offending LED lights? The instrument specialist who looked at my cluster isn't prepared to help me - he thinks it is a module issue. Everything else in the instrument cluster - lights, dials, etc - works perfectly.

Passat R36 Instrument Cluster
I have an issue with the Instrument Cluster on my 2010 Passat R36. As you can see from the photo the tachometer needle is not illuminated. This is an intermittent problem - usually at the start of the day it is blue and then during the day the light will go off, only to return the next day.
