Hello everyone. Seems there is an issue with Telstra (possible others) blocking email from our server. If you are trying to sign up I would suggest a different email if possible. If you're trying to reset your password and it fails please use the Contact Us page:
You sure?
Golf R has a Dyno mode, ie FWD only.
Quick Google you'll find if your interested.
Surely there's more psi to come??
Skoda RS230
IS20 more boost will produce more heat than power as will be running off the compressor curve, and give a few more kw but introduces alot more heat, more than the stock cooler could handle.
If the car is 4 motion then no point running it in fwd unless you want to be a dyno hero and then claim its at awd..
Yeah I don't mean to sound like I'm questioning or that I'm stupid. My tuner just asked about your 180kw. As I've got 155kw at the wheels on stage 2. I've done R600 Intake, Scorpion Downpipe IKH24 Plugs and DSG Tune. Have you done anything else like HPFP etc? He pushed for more but started to pick up knock so he said he didn't want to push it any further. Fiddle with timing, fuelling and boost but still pulled a bit of timing.

What did you get in terms of stock output on the same dyno?
Different dynos will give very different results. It's best to compare before/after dynos and look at the % change.
Otherwise you have to run back to back with another car on the same dyno / same day / same conditions to really be able to compare one run with another.

Did a few base runs, best was a 130.3kw. Very similar to Inasnt.

Totally agree on both fronts mate, Few folks do FWD when tuning Golf R's thats all. Your place clearly has a 4WD dyno, most dont.

Hmm thats weird as my stage 1 was 165@4 wheels. The dyno i used is conservative, seen it read lower numbers than others on the same car..
Who turned your car? Got graphs of your a/f ratios, boost or anything else?
They are missing something in their tune. Another tig stage 2 got similar numbers to mine on same tune and dyno.
I want to see an APR stage 2 tig on the same dyno
Yeah there are plenty of them running their tune. I've been in a few of their customer's before deciding to get with them. Spent quite a bit of time on the dyno.
