We picked up our MY19 Highline today, very happy.

Having read the manual - which is less than detailed re the Active Info Display, can I please ask:

How do I change the info displayed in the middle of the 2 round dials? All I see is fuel figures, I'd like to see current speed.

 Thanks.MY19 Tiguan Highline R-Line

press once to bring up the options and use the UP/DOWN arrows to cycle. OK to select

this should cycle through the different dial options - you'll be after "Gear and Speed"MY09 MKV Golf R32 | Black Pearl | Recaros | Sunroof | RNS510 | Purchased Feb '10 | Sold Jul '17

Yes all good, thanks for that.Originally posted by Ricka View PostThanks for that, I'll give it a try.

Our dealer was clear by the way : no 1,500km service. Just run it in for that period, no full throttle and no lugging. I am using Sport mode most of the time, to keep it revving. Much less aggressive than S was on our Mk V GTI - which was manic in S.MY19 Tiguan Highline R-Line

Just picked up my 162tsi Allspace.

The test car I drove didn't have a comfort mode setting in the drive selection. Rep told me the comfort mode was added to the RLine pack as it runs on lower profile tyres.

To my surprise my car has that feature... The test car was only a couple of months older than mine. Must have been a software update for new cars.

Congrats on the car!Originally posted by jolv View PostJust picked up my fully loaded 162tsi, I can confirm that there is no ambient lighting around the sunroof.

Yes that’s correct, VW deleted the ambient lighting around the sunroof in the current model (MY19) due to technical issues with the cabling or lights (I don’t know why, must be a quality issue).

In Aug this year there was a worldwide recall for cars with sunroof manufactured before July 2018 for this issue to be fixed (ambient light causing a fire hazard). I gather because of this they removed the feature entirely which was a shame. I reckon they could of redesigned the ambient lighting to be safe for new models. I was looking forward to feature too!

I thought the sunroof ambient lighting issue was only related to the Allspace...

That’s a bummer. I’m guessing this is a MY 19 “update” to remove ambient lightingOriginally posted by jolv View PostWasnt on my regular Tiguan so they must have removed from both, so not just the tigs from Wolfsburg but also Mexico so they must have removed from both, so not just the tigs from Wolfsburg but also Mexico

Yes the lights are still there but I’m pretty sure it’s been disconnected.Originally posted by iDiesel View PostI have July built Allspace and it looks they have just deactivated the roof lighting, as it looks like they are still there
