What Accessories are you buying for your MK7 Golf?

Some interesting progress on aftermarket HID headlights on another forum, keeping in mind it doesn't have self-levelling etc so technically not legal. Still looks the goods! Not sure what it would cost incl. P&H to Australia though, there was a Brazilian GB which dropped the price.

For those interested in getting whiter H15 halogen lights, these look good but I don't know about the quality of the bulbs or the high beam output. My guess would be a reduced high beam output due to the tinting of the globe itself.

Unfortunately that research is me procrastinating. I've tried to frequent the forums much less recently with varying levels of success lol.

Also I've just posted in the Headlights thread with more information, pics and videos on WP headlights. There are a couple guys VWGolf.net.au forums interested in the WinPower headlights, if there are enough people then a group buy could be organised. Worth checking out if you're not happy with the standard halogen headlights.

Hi "veew". I just saw your post in the headlights section. What are your numbers looking like? I'm specifically looking for GTI version but could consider settling for the V2 version (looks closer to OEM than the V1 which has two projector lamps)

Can anyone recommend any well price sports pedals...? be good if they also made the foot rest cover ?

Check the first page of the thread. Mine cost $65 and look and feel exactly like those in the dealership, unfortunately there are no matching footrests for RHD markets.

I made my own from propeller plate. I think I posted a pic further back.

I looked at the one manufactured by OSIR and it seemed the correct shape for our RHD models (to fit the rest on the left side). I've seen it a LOT cheaper than the site listing but cannot recall which online store sorry :/

I'm going to pick up a set but looking for the best price, they are much more common and cheaper in LHD.

As the car is a RHD DSG Golf Mk7 does it matter if I go for LHD or RHD pedal caps seeing as I only need the accelerator and brake caps and I cant imagine these two pedals would differ for right or left hand drive DSG.

Anyone more knowledgeable know the answer?
