Coming home/leaving convenience lighting is configurable through the car infotainment system. You can even increase the number of seconds they stay on. C'mon guys this feature was even available on the mk5 GTI

when you jump out of the car, close and lock the door, all exterior lights (headlights, tail lights) all stay on for a selectable time.
Have mine set to 30 seconds (I think that could be the max) so that there is light around the car as I am getting my stuff from the day out of it.
Handy

I have the Driver Assist package installed and it selects either LIM or ACC when the on/off button is pressed on the steering wheel above the mode button. I saw others post (when referencing how hard it is to see the MODE switch next to the DSG selector) that the MODE button on the wheel does the same. Is this a config issue or only for non-DA equipped cars?
If it brought up the Driving Mode menu on the dash, that would be awesome.

If you want to know the differences between the different driving modes you can hit information under the driver modes on their screen. It will tell you the different settings each has. On the individual setting the information button is replaced with a setup button for you to pick your own settings. The worse thing about the R so far is trying to figure out what you don't have in the manual. How is it that the top of the line has less features? Just as well it drives brilliantly.

Part of me wants to suggest that perhaps Lamborghini and Veyron designers were involved - there are a few subtle similarities in form/proportions that I'm picking up. Looks good - if anything too good for a VW

Lights in auto, works well, don't have to think about it.
Drive do you mean "mode": normal is default works well. I occasionally use individual and choose comfort suspension or on long freeway drives put it in "eco" mode. I did try race mode the other day, incredible difference, suspension rock hard and hunkered down on the road, steering heavy and then I launched it, what a rush! (car was at normal operating temp and have done 1k km so happy to give it a burl

Changed all globes in the car to LED. Glovebox, boot, two vanity lights for front."
