$49.5k drive away for a 2011 vw gti 5 door, dsg, 18's, xenons and leather in WA. Is it a good deal or not?

are the only requirements..anyone able to suggest a ball park?
dealers don't seem too keen at this stage to give out anything but standard pricing

also, how are the wait times, have been told 6-10 months.. realistic or ... ?

I ordered mine a couple weeks ago and got told 9 month wait is to be expected. VW australia have told me that there are no slots for Australian orders at present.
Regarding price I ordered my R optioned with manual, sunroof and 19" wheels for $54500 with no corporate discount.

The wait seems consistent with what I have been told.
Apparently it's being blamed on a shortage of R specific parts.. Haldex perhaps?
perhaps it's also due to demand globally... who knows.

I ordered mine 3.5weeks ago, got it 1.5 weeks ago However I had to compromise on an option to get one that was in country (it was in Brisbane). I wanted manual, DCC, sunroof, satnav, blue, I got all but the DCC... RRP+ripoff dealer delivery minus on-road costs(was the volkswagen sale on a few weeks ago that included stamp duty & rego & insurance + $1000 in accessories).

Keeping in line with FCBraji's quote above, the 64k price should be closer to 60ish.
The 61k price should be closer to 58ish.

Personally think it's quite on the high side.

Managed to get satnav, ACC, leather, RVC, dynaudio, dealer tint and didn't have to pay LCT if that gives you an indication but I had a few things such as corporate going for me. If you don't mind getting delivery from SA, then talk to Hawthorn Solitaire Volkswagen, Jeremy your best bet. Tell him you heard about him off the forum.

If you do mind, then talk to Penrith Volkswagen and ask for Carlos (manager) if you can but he might tell you talk to one of this juniors. Bought a polo GTI off him for a pretty good price and he was willing to negotiate unlike others when it came to Polo GTIs.

Got a quote (Lease) for a 5 door R with DSG, Sunroof, Leather, rear camera, delivery charges for $59,463

Thats good .. Lease cars don't pay GST so it is going to be better than most anyways

Did the deal with Paul Wakelings they retailed the car with options at $68K but agreed to match my other quote at $59400
