I got mine for $57000. DSG, leather, 19"s, Park Sensors, tinted windows, boot liner and floor mats.

I got mine for $47200. DSG, leather, 19"s, Park Sensors, tinted windows. So I'm thinking not BS! I have paperwork too, so I know it's possible.

Care to share the specifics - it may help others negotiate as that is a ripper deal.

I'll assume that is private ownership, drive away, no layered discounts and it is not a demo.

They must be cutting the absolute guts out of the R market as the majority (read - almost everyone) listed in the pricing thread are over $50k and more for those options

I got Corp plus and a discount prior to telling them I was on the fleet listing, nowhere close to the two numbers quoted so far (that is why so many are asking questions)

Are you talking about the VW corporate discount or something else ?

The VW corp discount used to be good but hasnt been for a few years now - they changed the setup

On roads are slightly cheaper than normal but major difference is options.

I didn't try and negotiate but was given pretty standard prices of $58k for the DSG + ~ $5,500 for leather + sunroof (so approaching $64k). That obviously is just bulk standard pricing.

I've read through the thread here but any idea what is a good deal for that sort of requirement list? Would I expect to be paying more like $57k?

Note that I don't have corporate but have a history with the dealer of having serviced through them too.

I paid $53k for my stock standard Golf R DSG back in October. And I got quoted 46k for a GTI, DSG, Leather, Sunroof, Detroits.
