+1 for Rob Mcgrail. Top guy and made the whole process a dream. There was no hard sell like so many other dealers do.

He asked what other cars we were looking at, not once did he have anything bad to say about them. He just said that he would let the cardo the talking. Then gave the keys to a demo to myself and my partner and let us go for a drive by ourselves.

Can't recommend him highly enough!

Just want to throw a question out there, anyone know some decent VW dealers in NSW? (particularly western suburbs such as parramatta, liverpool, etc.)

Was looking at barloworld VW but it seems their golf R's have been sold, well the manual one at that.

Specs looking for is mainly :-
Rising Blue
Vienna Leather interior
5 Door
Manual (currently have a MKV GTI DSG, so I know whats a DSG like :3)

Lately been checking carsales, have yet to visit a dealer but will look into it soon (going on holidays in a month so yeah). But the cheapest one i've found in NSW 'was' going for 55990 for a 5 door with leather, satnav MY11 (that's done 8000km). Apparently this was drive away price so it didn't look too bad.

Yes, I will absolutely haggle/bargin with the sales person when the time comes to it, and I do recieve the corporate discount (which i used on the golf GTI and got the car back in 2008 (MY09) for ~43 000k Drive away Price (with DSG, vienna leather, reversing sensors, weathershield, candy white)

Place an order for Candy White MY12 Golf R with black 19" for $58750 (approx.). Car dealer said he has requested the car from another VW car dealear in Victoria but couldn't confirm the date. But I've requested to pick up the car before Xmas. Do you think that's possible?

If the car is at the dealership & they send a truck - yes. If it's in importer arrival status - doubtfull

I found out yesterday that my car ( 2012 CW DSG Golf R 19" Black wheels) will be here 2 months ahead of plan! I should have it by start of Feb. I ordered it in late august / september (i think)

ETA - I got a 5 door manual with Dynaudio, bluetooth, MDI but no leather that was in stock for just under 50k driveaway. It had 14kms on it.
