    Hi Ryan,

When you got your clutch pack replaced, was that the new part from the MK7?

I've heard this question so many times recently I'm starting to think it must be true - but have seen nothing official from VWA. China and USA have it.

would one really want to drive more aggressively when one of the influencing factors to buy was the fuel economy.

The shudder had come back but I was waiting for it get more prominent before taking it to get checked out so that I can demonstrate it easily...

Time for the extended warranty to get to work!

Yes definitely! Dont want to make you feel bad, but that is the worst i have seen so far. You don't even need to mute the audio to tell it's there.

Doesn't help in peak hour traffic though, or if you have a granny in the passenger seat

Golf 7 Speed DSG shudder / clutch issues

My dealer recommended I pull off from stops or slow corners more aggressively in D....it actually works so far. Most of my judder experiences have been when driving like a granny coming out of slow uphill corners. Just putting this out there for feedback.

Think so - a friend of mine in Hong Kong changed the clutch pack as well under warranty. Better bring it back to VW HK.

If you can, until you get the clutches shift the gears yourself in tiptronic mode. The mechatronics dont allow as much slip in this mode and kick down to 1st more willingly.
