after long time coming saying I'll put an order. Finally did it.
Ordered yesterday, Golf R 3dr DSG White, ACC, Bluetooth, MDI, Leather, Sun roof, 19" black.
Now the waiting game... but at least it gives me more time to save. Parramatta dealer advised april/may. I rex it will take longer.

Yeah got mine through the Parra dealer.. Jadd.. but that was in Sept. and they reckon March Delivery so your date lines up.. congrats is it a DSG and 3 or 5 door..?

It was a bit annoying because I went to the VW in penrith and they didn't have the demo car no more (few weeks ago they did) so drove all the way to Parra but had to wait a pretty long time as they were short staffed. But im glad im out of there with an order.

My order is currently on the Morning Camilla and due to pick up mid dec 2010. I've been catching public transport all this time and get so much flak from work mates about where my car is and that i am crazy, but i know it will be worth the wait. Not long to go now.

Hi all,

Over the weekend, placed an order for the MY11.5 GTI (see signature). It will be 2011 build-date and optioned with updated Bi-Xenon (LED strip integrated). Woot!

Now I have to calm down because it will be an unbearably long wait...sigh.

Thanks Big_Dave. I wasn't planning to tick the Bi-Xenon box but with the LED DRL integrated, it will be a visible difference to earlier ones. Confirmed with the dealer that it will be for build week 45 onwards.

I would be pleasantly surprised if it arrives Mar-2011.

Good work Buddy. I ordered mine Start of October, and I have realised now that It will be an MY11.5 as well, due to there still being no assigned build date yet!

Ditto Prodigy - great specs on your order... I work in OP so I went local - VW OP - very happy with their service to date.... I think there are about 5 Rising Blues (and a couple of whites and blacks) hitting OP this week.... Ive only ever seen one R out on the Perth streets (last week) and that was a RB - looked awesome!!... you seen any?
