I can safely say that this is the ONLY time being in Perth is better than being in the Eastern States.... The ships come through here 1st!
OR Last.
It depends whether they come down the West Coast of Africa and then towards Australia, or whether they come through the Suez Canal and stop in Asia first. Cause then they'll go to Brisbane first and work the other way...
Morning Carol - last Contact was not far from Port Elizabeth South Africa.... that was on 6 May, it was then supposed to dock at Durban on 7 May. Haven't heard or seen any other updates. I imagine it should be on the way to next dock at Fremantle, OZ by now, maybe positioned just South of Madagascar.

It is still due to dock at Durban on the 8th See this POst in the Polo forums: Durban Port info
Also, I made another post about when the ship will probably turn up again approaching Durban. Essentially you won't see it until it is about 6 hours from Durban. Ship track map
At the time of this post it is 4 PM - 8th May in Durban so you still have a few hours left till it docks....
does that include the dealer pre sales..? I figured 1 week in patricks and 2 weeks with Denlo
It all depends on Patrick's workload at the time as they do the majority of pre-delivery, compliance plates, data dot etc.. Last year I had a car land in Port Kembla off the Topeka and was ready for pickup from the dealers within 10 days!
The various dealers I've dealt with over the years seem to be consistent @ 14 days from Port to dealer. Again it varies from Port to Port dealer to dealer, but 3 to 4 weeks seems a long time, no doubt the majority of that time the car would be just sitting in some yard collecting dust.
