How to track the car you have ordered?

FAUST update...... She's only about 8 hours away from docking in Freo. According the Port of Freo website, Faust will depart for Melbourne tomorrow and arrive here on Saturday 6/11/10....The dealer called and said it's 7-14 days from time of docking and she'll be mine! I can't beleive the 4month wait is nearly over....I'll try and post a pic of Faust coming up the bay for my fellow tragics.

That's a pretty quick delivery time (from docking). To get through Customs, then PD'd by Patricks and then out to Dealer then Dealer prepare for delivery in that time ? ........ I hope for your sake that it happens so quickly.

Is there anyone in Perth who has a car on Faust ? If so, we'll be interested to see how long after today you get your cars.

I was under the impression it will take about 3 weeks from docking before we'd be likely to get hold of the car.

Maybe he meant 7 to 14 business days (effectively 2 to 3 regular weeks)

Polo took a week and a bit to go through, I will let you know how long my R takes. I think the dealership will probably be the hold up given how many Rs they have coming in on this shipment but you never know I would be willing to bet $10 I know whos car is going to go through pre-delivery first.

mmm the Fedora has passed through the Panama Canal and is now in the Pacific. Next stop French Polynesia...

It's disappeared off the tracking site - not many ports about between Panama and Tahiti...

I did notice on the ship information page there is a spot (albeit blank in the case of the Fedora) for the ships phone and fax numbers. Perhaps those becoming overly anxious can give the ship a call and ask where they are
