Who has a car on the Torrens? It is due to dock in Port Elizabeth (South Africa) tomorrow to enjoy the spectacle that will be the 3rd place playoff between Germany & Uruguay in the near by Nelson Mandela Bay Stadium

I have a couple of cars coming for me that I'm tracking on the Torrens. Left Durban on the 12th so she's on her way accross the Indian Ocean now. Due to port in Melbourne on the 31st of July at the moment.

Morning glory is heading to Melbourne from Fremantle

Hi if my car has a build date of week 33 when should i expect to have my car delivered

Week 33 is August 16 to 22. You then allow say 5 weeks shipping and 3 weeks for customs/compliance/transport/dealer delivery....
So you could estimate that you can take delivery of the car in week 42 (October 18 to 24). It may be a touch quicker, it could also be much longer if there are weather or quarantine or many other numerous things which can delay shipments

Morning glory has been delayed and scheduled to depart at 4:00pm 19/7 Perth time and heading to Melbourne

One of our dealer members, Serge, has let me know some additional information in relation to this:

• Volkswagen consider "Week 33" to be August 9 to 15
• If a car starts its build in that week, it can take 10 days to build car & 5 days for a checkover
• So a "Week 33" car may take up to August 30th to be finished.
• Boats usually leave Germany twice a month: 1. 7-9th. 2. 22-24th
• If you miss one boat, it can add 2 or 3 weeks to the delivery

So in this case, the car will likely arrive in Australia around October 18 to 24th, and then add 3 weeks until the customer can take delivery

My cars that were on Morning Glory are now ImpArrived in Melbourne on NADCON and a couple have even cleared bond

So, are you saying that the cars that on Morning Glory is now on NADCON??

Just recieved an update note, ImpArrived status is incorrect. Morning Glory is due to dock in Melbourne on the 26th, Sydney on the 31st

So looking at the shipping route, being on the Western Side of Australia has an advantage for a change, as our cars should arrive before eastern staters get theirs.
