        • Me too - especially the full circle brake light.
          Current - 2007 Golf GTI, DSG, RCD510, K&N Panel Filter, BSH PCV revamp, Bluefin Stage 1 tune, 18" Omanyt's with RE003s.
          Previous - 2003 Renault Clio Sport 172 - Flame Red. -Gone-

                    • Did a bit of a service last weekend.
                      Oil, air, fuel filters, cam follower & spark plugs. Found the connectors to coil packs are all broken too.
                      Omg the oil filter housing was bastard tight, can't believe it did not break taking it off. Car is a lot nicer now. Fuel cut issue is gone too.

                      Did a DSG reset Thursday and shifting is so much nicer now.
                      I still think the flywheel is buggered, dropping it off Monday for a full check.

                      Today I replaced the sway bar drop links. Had it checked in May the report said not much wrong end links got small cracks in boots. I thought that was odd as is makes a hell of a racket.
                      Well they were totally fu cked.

                      • So the flywheel is okay, the rattle is the catalytic converter in pieces.
                        Can anyone reccomended a good downpipe and cat?

                          Must be hundreds of std ones kicking about. Try JMAC, he often had them hanging up in his shop.

                          • Was thinking dp with highflow cat. Then a tune once im happy that the car is 100%. Worried about CEL without a tune.
