Upgraded from RCD 500 to RNS 510. A fairly easy job till one of my vents dropped out and fell apart. Learned a few new words trying to reassemble it, but got it done in the end

If you don't mind me asking George, where did you get the RNS 510 from and roughly how much was it? I've been looking around for one, just have to find the right price.

Got it on EBay from a guy in Dubbo new in box. He bought it for his mk5 but upgraded to a Passat that had sat nav fitted. Price??? $750

Managed to replace the hood lining of my Pirelli today.. Wasn't fun to say the least, bit of a nightmare to pull the lighting and handles in and out but we got there in the end and I'm stoked with the results!

I redid my front GTI badge gloss red. Strip white. Grille matte black. Just to see how it looked. I don't mind it, probably keep it. What is everyone's thoughts?

Fortunately my partners a marine upholster so he was able to order new materials through work. The old material wasn't salvageable. We didn't follow any particular DIY tutorial although having industrial glue and facilities helped a lot. How bad is yours?

Mine started like this and just got worse as time went on..
