I just had a look at carsales, wow GT tsi's have really dropped in price in the last few months. You can get a 2yr old model for mid 20's they were still fetching over 30k when I was looking, makes for some great value second hand buying now.. The Diesel GT's are still a bit pricey thoughMKV GTI

OK I've been offered an amount and I thin I'll accept (not exactly the amount I was after but I won't be disappointed either way)
Now with the GT, do many forum members on here, mkv and, VWG have this model? Parts easily available in terms of modding? Will most mk5 gti parts fit a GT? (eg, CAI, catback, springs.)

Yes most if not all parts are interchangeable. Some have done the GTI steering wheel swap in their GT. But if you are going to spend alot $$ doing up a GT, it might be better to get a GTI to begin with.Originally posted by deewhy View PostOK I've been offered an amount and I thin I'll accept (not exactly the amount I was after but I won't be disappointed either way)

Yeah I did contemplate that, but gti's are still 23k for the cheapest and with 90xxx kays on it and most with no extended warranty. Might be a bit risky.... The CAI and intake arn't the priority the main things I wanna do is lower it and tune it for now.... hehe
O and yes I've just sold the car today!
