I got a 2010 Platinum Grey (no whites available
), completely standard. But even standard it comes well equipped with the usual Jetta stuff plus front fogs, 17'' wheels and RCD510. I'll take some good snaps of it tomorrow as I've just changed the headlights to my OEM HID reps, looks awesome

Many plans for it, a combo of both visual and performance based. jettamkv.com is where most of my inspiration comes from.Originally posted by bwen View PostNice!! congrats on the new Jetta, Maca!
Jettamkv.com is a good source.
Two questions re. your changeover:
You removed the Hella projectors from the old car before sale and reinstalled in the new car?
Looking forward to the pics, too (including an interior one if possible). Do you think the buyer of your car will visit this forum, too?Bizi's Jetta TDI: Blue Graphite w. factory leather & tint, plus + Enkei Racing NT03+M + Yokohama S Drive 18s, Koni FSD, Neuspeed coils, GTI RSB + brakes, InPro mirrors, VW navi, Modshack. Come for a drive through the twisties on Saturdaze.

Yeah, I did remove the Hella projectors before sale. I really hope the buyer ends up on here (I traded it in to Gold Coast VW), I'd love to continue seeing her on cruises etc.Originally posted by Bizi View Postcongrats on the new Jetta, Maca!

Traded the TDI in, and believe it or not, I already miss her. My parents bought a Tig back in April and the Touareg went to another family member... We've all got VAGs!Originally posted by anthony View PostI love the Jetta in Platinum Grey.
What happened to your OLD Black TDI ???
And whose getting the Tiguan ???
Do you guys still have the Touareg ???
Cheers.
Without hijacking this thread even more, I've made a new thread here

Personally, I think you'd be better off getting the GT TDI simply because of the torque. And I'm a real sucker for torque.Originally posted by deewhy View PostNice Maca! Looks great congrats on the purchase.
I'll get this thread back on track. With the 1.4 GT, how does it respond to a tune? How much increase in kw can i expect?2002 Volkswagen Bora V5 - 2007 Mazda 3 GT - 1998 Ford Contour Sport - 2010 Volkswagen Jetta 2.0T - 2013 Volkswagen Passat 130TDI - 2015 Ford Escape 1.5 - 2016 Subaru WRX - 2018 Volkswagen Golf R Wolfsburg Wagon

If you want some sort of reference put the model info in here - Superchips - Superchips optimise the performance of your car, helping to maximise your driving pleasure.
It will give you a power and torque curve showing the increases. I'll vouch for Superchips on the TDI GT Sport, did mine yesterday and love it.Golf GT Sport TDI

Anything non turbo will give you very small results with a tune (maybe 10kw at the most!). Your better of just sticking with either a 2.0tfsi or a 2.0tdi anything else will just be frustratingly slow.Originally posted by deewhy View PostHow about the 2.0 fsi? Anyone tuned them? I'll vouch for Superchips on the TDI GT Sport, did mine yesterday and love it.If you check the Superchips site (and possibly other ECU tuners) you will likely get the ballpark potential of up to 10% for non-turbo petrol, up to 20% for turbo petrol and up to 30% for turbo diesel. The TDI tune will also have potential fuel economy benefits; there are plenty of TDI tune threads here already to read about this. A 2.0 TDI thread is currently active.Originally posted by jessv3 View PostAnything non turbo will give you very small results with a tune (maybe 10kw at the most!). Good luck and I recommend you try both petrol and diesel as the characteristics are markedly different; the diesel is torquey like a V8!Bizi's Jetta TDI: Blue Graphite w. factory leather & tint, plus + Enkei Racing NT03+M + Yokohama S Drive 18s, Koni FSD, Neuspeed coils, GTI RSB + brakes, InPro mirrors, VW navi, Modshack.
