You can just use VAG-COM what trans you have. Have also been able to measure trans temp using it so that fluid is checked correctly.
Parts came last week, now I only need to get the fluid and attempt this on my day off. Weirdly though it's been shifting smoothly, can the cold weather have any effect on it?Past - '95 VW Golf MK3 VR6

Are you referring to sports mode?
I've got the fluid, just need the Trans sump gasket. We're did you get yours?

Penrite says ATF FS Multi is the preferred fluid. What did you get?
