Thanks Al, I need to still come over and get these next few things sorted out but my leave passes have dried up a bit of late. Once I get the ATS ready, I will have no choice as they won't fit on without the guards being further attended to. And I really want that front bar fitted up, but still have not sourced the hardware.

Hope your mum doesn't read this forum or you're going to get even more grief. Yes, dumb thing to do. Yes, other people have done the same thing (luckily I was wearing a jumper but it still hurt like hell for a week). Yes, my wife gave me heaps for being so dumb.

Well they were better than the CJ8's out of the victa I was using so yes.

Just got the ATS back from straightening at Neales wheels - now I am just needing to polish them, re black the centres and wait for my next spare $ for the Federal 595 SRS and I'll be giggling like a school girl.

I think half the fun in playing with cars is doing it yourself. It always ends up being a love/hate relationship but at the end of the day its nice when you can sit back and say "I did that"
