It's real unfortunate but I can't get her along this year. It's the second year I have wanted to, but have been unable to.

285mm front brake conversion shipped from the UK this week, looking forward to it arriving. Pretty nice piece of kit - same as the ones behind the rims on this car.

Not much else to report as yet, but you can have your coilover back pretty soon I imagine.

All journeys have a destination, sometimes you end up somewhere unexpected.

Unfortunately, the journey of the Green 16v has been cut a little short.

A few weeks ago the car was involved in an accident and sustained some damage to the front end. At first it looked like it would be repairable, but after a closer inspection and discussion, I decided that the car was best to be assessed as a total loss.

This week has been hard but coming to the realisation that it is time to move on has been a good one. I have been pretty lucky to have this car, the support from my family who allowed me to get it to where it has been and also the chance to meet some pretty cool people and make some great friends along the way.

Over the next few weeks I will decide how to deal with where we are at where I take things to from here.

So farewell Team Green 16v!

Anything can be saved. Wolfsburg Automotive has NOS replacement chassis rails if that's of any use.

Hopefully someone else picks up the gauntlet and keeps this thing on the road.

Time for a new beginning perhaps?

Your right, anything can be saved but the real thing is motivation. That and the fact that I think it would be hard to find someone willing to pay for all of the parts that are on the car considering the damage.

It's sort of difficult to know what to do with the shell.
