I have been reluctant to post pics of the damage, but I will post one for you Dom.



It has been decided that the car will be completely stripped and componentry repurposed and then any remaining parts not required will be sold off. Not a great result, but by the time the parts I need are removed it will be less than a rolling shell.

Sad times.

No idea how I never saw this thread, this car lived around the corner from me and I used to see it all the time and wave like a dork from the VR6, sad to have a rummage through this thread and see it end like this, I spent hours trying to talk a mate into buying this car when Limmys bro had it for sale (he went an E30 instead), found a few old pictures I took...

Oh and also just a comment from way back in the thread, I also dealt with door 2 door towing, and they were really good to deal with, not one drama, they said I would be charged more if the car didn't run; it didn't have reverse and D was slipping, and he said it was no drama and none of the variables that increased the price were added... they even paid the local towie I had take the car to their depo and just put it on my bill (that didn't cost much so doubt they made much of a commission if at all).

Anyway, can't wait to see where this all goes.
