So, in life some things come full circle - today that was also the case for a certain MK1.

I purchased this car and had it shipped back from Brisbane to Matt's workshop so I can get it re-registered.

I have not spent too much time with the car but in the short time I have had with it, I think I am going to be happy with it.

First up will be a new exhaust system, then the remainder for Blue Slip and hope it to be on the road before the end of the month.

I want to thank Matt for encouraging me to pursue it, Limmy and Davin for getting the sale to happen and J-Mac for starting the thing in Brisbane to get it transported. It took over 3 months for me to consider it to it being here so I think I have been pretty patient.

Also if you ever want to move a car interstate - consider Door 2 Door Car Carrying who had no issues with the car being lowered and were no more expensive than one of the major carriers and will allow personal effect in the car.

Looking forward to summer now - Go Team Green!

Congrats on the purchase Mik. I've seen the car a couple of times, but not since being completed and it looked to be a real deal bit of gear. Good to see it's back in safe hands again.

Coloured past similar to the site.

Similarly it is now time for both to mature gracefully!

Have been itching to drive it today.

                        yip yah awesome news

So good to see a great car be in the ownership of a worthy and honest lad

drop around in it mik would love to have a run in it

history lesson:first time i met matt some 6-7 years ago this car was on stands and fully stripped ready for paintish and the rebuild, it was such an inspiring thing to see a bare bones car and all the work that goes into it, it definately pushed me to start my car to the degree it has now become

Thanks Alex. I need to come around and ask some engineering and welding advice so it would be good to see you. Along with a story involving Audi alloy wheels and a policeman.

had a drive in this weapon aaaagggess ago, when the glory spawned. All you need to do is get a higher limiter and hold on...
