I stayed Saturday night at a motel in Casula and drove the Golf to the event. Pretty nerve-wracking driving a car that I've rebuilt the suspension, trying to remember if I've tightened evert bolt.
This may not look impressive but I've finally got the MK1 to the point where I feel comfortable to drive it around town. It's still loud, rough and a pain to drive but it's getting there.
New (old MK1) wiper assembly installed after much stuffing around to refit the control module. Interesting to see MK3 on it but the part number is identical to the one I took off the Cupra.
