Actual the "real" torque rating is not on the DSG at all, its really on the dry clutch assembly which (like eveything that runs a wet or dry clutch) becomes one of the "fusible" links.
We have been doing a lot of work on the 7 speed clutch assembly & have learnt a few tricks recently
Hey guy don't keep all the secrets to yourself! What's a "fusible" link anyway?
Sounds good! Can't wait for it to be released. Did they give you any idea on price?
Forgot to ask At the time, was to busy enjoying all the VW eye candy haha, hoping it comes along nicely and is released by mid year.
Meanwhile taking the intake out and putting the stock one today was a mammoth pain in the ass, but not giving the dealership any excuses in Tuesday not to fix up some issues I've got.

Sorry for the double post, but does anyone know a good workshop to do an S3 intercooler install that won't cost an arm and a leg?

As promised the Forge intake video is now available, I need a nice sunny day when I can have the top down to get a better video of what it sounds like when driving, but this gives you an idea.

Now given that the SC is designed to kick in at just above idle, the thing is almost always on boost which means it's always releasing pressure which is getting sort of annoying... especially when your in a carpark because it's not exaclty subtle
I'm seriously considering going back to the stock intake unless there is some way to quiet the blow off noise down.
If it has an engine or heartbeat it's going to cost you.
Yeah from all the videos I've seen, yours included, it sounds like it would annoy me more than anything else. Sounds a bit like the car is sick (the bad kind)
Like I said, I don't mind the sound... but I much prefer a more subtle approach. Front mount is subtle, loud blow off noise is not.
Sooooooo, I have relented and put the stock intake back in place. All up including getting the tools our and putting them away it was a 10 minute job.

We will see what happens when I get it tuned. If the intake is worthwhile power wise it will go back on. If not... well it will no doubt be up for sale.
If it has an engine or heartbeat it's going to cost you.
