Ok guys it seems the delay is confirmed.. date is pushed back to 31 July. Sorry that it's come to a further delay, but I've just been relaying information that Audiosources's manager has been giving me. I will re-evaluate his estimates next time, it seems he gets much too optimistic about them...

Hardly surprising given that it seems the software was still being developed as of a week ago. But I think everyone can agree we'd rather not be beta testing rushed units. Let's hope a delay = better product.

The DNS unit will implement a proper music library like your phone, it will no longer rely on folders.

The boot handle camera measures about 115mm x 48mm, with the distance between the two screws about 68mm. It should fit your Jetta.

Hi, just for everyone if find this usefull, it won't fit a jetta Mk5, since the measures are about 80mm x 40mm.

Sorry, my mistake - it's the Jetta 6 that fits this camera. The Jetta 5 can still use the LED licence plate light camera though.

I now have confirmation that a sample unit is on its way to me, so I expect it either this weekend if I'm lucky and latest by Tuesday if I'm not. Will get that demo video up ASAP.

Sorry mate I have no solid date at this stage.. I will make an announcement as soon as I know. With enough interest I could run a group buy for the 710 units.

Fixed! I now have my computer back so all invoices and payments are now properly up to date. That is, unless I missed someone going through PMs and emails for the past week or so, so let me know if there's anything amiss.

By the way, I think we've probably got the record for longest thread in the Parts For Sale section here...

In any case the delay means the group buy will also be extended. The date that you must make a deposit by (and also the date that the deposit becomes non-refundable) will be 31 July, and the group buy will close 29 July.

In the mean time, my computer continues to be stubborn but I hope to fix it soon with a new power supply and I will be able to send invoices again after that. I will also update order statuses tomorrow.

You can never trust a chinese ETA... they were going to be avaliable after the chinese new year! Anyway, it's better to wait a few months rather than having a buggy unit.

Looking forward to watch the new unit!

Yup, any rear screens connected via the output on the back of the unit will not show the navigation.

Sorry no, that article was also quite clear - such a device converts the MHL signal to standard HDMI so any TV can access it. For a device to output a video signal with MHL, the prerequisite is that it has MHL. Either way, the connection for the DNS mirror function will be via USB, not HDMI.
