  • Brake pedal hard first thing in the morning

    2006 T5 Kombi Beach

Once the engine started the brake pedal went back to being normal, but harder to press first time before engine started. I suddenly got the thought that the brake vacuum reservoir might have got a leak or one of the pipes, so I had a look around and got lucky straight...

    TDi Airco Pipe broken

    Hi All,

I have an issue with my son's TDi 2008 Jetta. I think an engine mount broke, causing the engine to move forward and the belt cut the main pressure line from the TX valve to condenser.

Mechanic said it could be fixed but better to get a new pipe.

    I have...

  • Anyone know how to remove the air inletmanifold on the AXZ engines (V6/VR6 FSI)

Was wondering if anyone had any tips on how to get off the air manifold on the AXZ engines (one piece manifold not like the later R36 manifolds) - seem to be some kind of metal pipe running in front of the manifold securing it in place, I think I'v gotten loose all the bolts, but still seem stuck -...

    Kind EGR Engineers.

The very Kind Engine Engineers made the EGR pipe so easily accessible, I had to fit a reducer..

So far So good, no ECM light. Tried to upload a pic, not allowing me.

I reckon I halved the hole size in the stainless steel gasket, where the EGR pipe bolts to the Cooler. ...

    Hi All,
complete newbie here with no experience with VW but finding myself in the position of having to fix one.

  • RTMG Adaptor + R8 Coils into a 118TSI (plus more)

This morning started with the removal of the OEM RVC camera to swap it out for an aftermarket unit which provides a CVBS output rather than the RGB one from the OEM unit. This means I no longer need an adaptor (which never worked) and I have my reverse camera back on my new Maxca head unit with Wireless...

    Polo 6R Stage 2?

Hi all - I’ve had a look but haven’t had any luck finding much information around a stage 2 kit and tune for my 2016 Polo GTI 1.8. As far as I’m aware it’s a 2.5-3 inch dump pipe (I believe I can leave the standard exhaust after the dump pipe) and high flow intake upgrade, then a tune.

Hoping someone with one of these cars has done the IE/CTS/revo turbo inlet pipe upgrade and has the standard OEM pipe from airbox to turbo surplus to their needs. If anyone has one please let me know as its needed for a conversion of one of these turbos onto a 1.8T 20V.
    thanks

    VW/Tiguan newbie in Perth

I recently purchased a 2010 Tiguan which is my first VW.
I've already purchased a set of 18's, which I can't yet fit because they're directional rims and they've sent me 3 in one direction and 1 in the other and my OCD won't allow for that mess, thankfully they will be supplying me with the correct...

Thought I should introduce my self, have owned my Arteon for about six months now, it's manganese grey with the Sound and Style package.

Have done a few mods to it, Eibach lowered springs, turbo intake pipe and APR stage 1 tune, the tune has transformed the car, so good to drive now....
