I was hoping someone knew of a mechanic in Sydney that could fix my VW golf’s issue. The last couple of weeks an error message that reads ‘gear box error you can drive on’ started popping up. Sometimes the car randomly stops shifting gears.

I took it to a VW dealer...

I have a V6 Amarok with a recurring but intermittent check engine light.

I have scanned the error codes and get two different codes depending on which tool I use.

Using OBD11 I get an error code 0538 and under voltage issues with various exhaust gas temp sensors etc as well...

I got myself the lovely error message of "Steering column lock faulty" and a red flashing wheel on the way home this afternoon.

Hey everyone, I have a Golf mk6 2013 1.4l.

I have it booked in to be fixed this week, but am hoping to get advice first.

It’s having issues with the transmission where it goes into limp mode within the first few kms (the car loses all power and needs to be restarted)...

Driving today, turning at an intersection, hear an audible click that came from the steering wheel like a rubber band snapping sound. Instant airbag error, no front assist and start stop error. Didn’t go away after a turn off or turn on, also there hours later.

Am I terribly unlucky...

My Golf is going in for its first service tomorrow (12 months, 10,000 km). Just wondering if there is anything I should get done (and perhaps some way to prompt them to do a software update).
