Just got word from my housemate that I received a package today
brakes may be going on this weekend!!
And they're here!!
Now do I play games or install brakes?? Decisions, decisions
Well I played games all weekend, car treated me like a bitch again! Front caliper bleeder screw rounded out (vice grips to the rescue)
ordered the last two bleeder screws in the country, $86 for two valves!! Gotta love dealer prices but hopefully can install brakes tomorrow afternoon.

wow! the brake bias isn't effected too much with that greater difference front to rear? I guess all the weight and drive is in the front of the golfs so isn't so bad?Comment

Well I upgraded the rears as well. It's the full r32 setup so brake bias should remain oem. Round 1 of bleeding and pedal still goes to floor when the car is on. Round 2 it is then hahaComment

I wonder if you should recode the ABS module to account for the R32 front calipers..they have a different softcode for the larger brakes.PM if you are looking for: R32 rear sway bar; R32 suspension springs; Euro Headlight switchesComment
