Email Notifications Failing (mostly Telstra)
Hello everyone. Seems there is an issue with Telstra (possible others) blocking email from our server. If you are trying to sign up I would suggest a different email if possible. If you're trying to reset your password and it fails please use the Contact Us page:
Yeah techs would get a fright working over there, but its was a great way to learn, eyes got opened when I moved here to find stuff just comes off. A (proper) wheel alignment on an Audi quattro over there could take you half a day easy, cut my teeth that way.
Anyway yeah mate, ill hear from ya, hope it all bleeds up ok, if not I can pressure bleed it when I see it next
All the best
Jmac
Yeah must've been hell working against all that rust! I'll definitely get you to pressure bleed the system when you swap boxes. Brake fluid is cheap and nothing beats the pedal feel of a properly bled system! Saw on the FB you're sick too mate, hope you'll feel better soon!
notes taken.. say no to used salted road driveline parts... check.
Hope it goes down smoothly for you next try mate
Thanks mate, glad others can learn from my mistakes I've been contemplating chucking the fronts in tonight but dunno if I can be arsed bleeding the system again haha
plus one on this! believe its the source for some ticking noise
Yeah and about 1.5m of vacuum hoses and 2 check valves. I want to simplify everything but I wanna make sure my car won't explode if I do it haha. A lot of guys in the uk do it and they just let the tAnk vent down into the fender.
Decided to keep the evap but I deleted the line going the the intake manifold, I figure vacuum from the tip should be enough to pull fuel vapours through.
Thanks mate. I decided to clean out the pcv system as well while I was there as it looked pretty funky, I wasn't wrong!! So much crap came out! Also discovered my boost leak, damn pcv is leaking, I don't think they like high boost as it's only 4 months old. By-passed and got my 4 psi back, forgot how much fun the car is when I have full boost . Now I gotta order a billet pcv valve from 034 but they want $40 to **** a $30part here anybody want me to throw some stuff in the order for them and split postage?
how did you diagnose the PCV? I have a boost leak I cant find, possibly my issue as well.
I took it out and literally blew through it and could hear and feel the air leaking. Want me to order one for you as well? It wasn't leaking that bad but it was still enough to rob me of 4 psi. I've been chasing that leak ages, I've probably checked every clamp in the system and it was that damn valve haha
