That's the spirit. I think there's sprints on at QR in July which I plan to do. I haven't had a proper run at QR in close to 3yrs.

Haha, maybe one day. But for now, I don't see the need. With the weather cooling down, traction is becoming more of a problem than lack of power.
I know of a good way to overcome this.
I've been impressed with the traction you're getting in your videos. 2nd gear was still a lesson in patience - which I hadn't mastered.

Just some more car vid spamming for my thread. Another fun morning at QR. First half the session was quite damp, but the numbers were low today so I got to give the car a good push around a few corners when the pack thinned out a couple times.
NOTE: In the vid, my car always seems to sound like my gearbox crunches... It's not. Gearbox is butter smoother actually. Its the exhaust that makes a "cracking" noise when I change gear. A lot refer to it sounding like DSG cars do on gearchange.
James was selling his cup edition spoiler last week so I jumped on that quickly after Sean messaged me saying it was for sale (Thanks for the heads up mate!!)
Its the same spoiler that Gav has, (genuine rip off lol) so the corners don't sit perfectly, but I put a thin bead of sikaflex in there to fill the little gaps. Have to clean off the last tiny little bits of silicone but will do that tomorrow once its dried. Yet to see it out in the sun but pretty pleased with how the paint turned out, nice and glossy.
Today was my first timed session in the polo. Had a blast and learnt a lot. Thanks to Sean and Nat for all the help throughout the day. Unfortunately I forgot to turn my GoPro on in the later sessions which were my better ones but here's one from an earlier session.
Looking forward to giving it another crack when the next event comes up. Until then there's plenty I can look back at and try and improve on.
I wasn't following my lap times until we finished off and then I went and checked all of them. My best time was a 62.9sec lap, which I'm pretty happy with for a first go. My consistently also became a lot better towards the end of the day.
So my H&R coilovers arrived last week so Thursday night I tacked the rears and the rest was done on the weekend. I had a couple issues with my MCA set that only seemed to be evident in my set, but none of the others had the same problem. Anyhow, I'm now rolling around on the same Monotube ones that Sean runs in the devil. Install was a breeze, everything fitted really nicely. They're a nice bit of gear and they ride very nicely, firm but comfortable. The car went in for an alignment today also.
I'm going to QR Street sprints in 2 weeks time (17th) so they will be put to the test then. Can't wait to see how they perform and to be back out to do another timed session, hopefully there's an improvement
