How long has it taken to get your parts from forge? I had some gear ordered 3weeks ago and it hasn't arrived yet. Getting impatient as I'm wanting to do a tune on the car but might as well get the parts fitted at the same time. You know how it is once you've made the decision to mod, you want it all done the next day
Track Car: 06 Polo GTI Red Devil mkII
Daily: 2010 VW Jetta Highline
Gone but not forgotten: 08 Polo GTI

The part was ordered on the 28th of may, so a little less than 2 weeks.... The short shifter was originally part of the group buy, but the first one was delivered to the wrong address (an old one of mine on file), so a new one was ordered...

Nice effort... I thought about buying them, and they are the only other wheels I would put on my car over the Twists. I would say to leave them gold... They would look good on a black car.

i'd be doing it for the same reasons (too much spare cash - not now though pfft); aesthetics, performance gain. small rotors give me eyesore. you will most definitely enjoy the 312mm brakesOriginally posted by danish View PostTo be honest my reasons for upgrading the rears as much aesthetic as anything else. The rear discs just look embarrassingly small compared to the 312s so with the larger discs up back it looks more balanced. I'm sure there will be a small difference in performance as well which wont hurt, although no doubt most of the braking improvement I get out of this will be from the changes up front
i know i did, and still do.

FAAAARK! I agree with Blitzen - leave em gold to contrast with the black body work else you won't be able to appreciate the wheels properlyOriginally posted by vwthunder View PostJust bought some BBS LM's, always wanted some, so the Bora Sports with Falken RT615's for track and the LM's, well might do them black, and will be my daily rims with the KU31'sResident grumpy old fart

Get some lighter wheels for the track, i love my Boras but they are too heavy. I''m looking for similar wheels that weigh less.Originally posted by vwthunder View PostJust bought some BBS LM's, always wanted some, so the Bora Sports with Falken RT615's for track and the LM's, well might do them black, and will be my daily rims with the KU31'sMY2008 VW Polo GTi / GIAC Tune / Forge FMIC / Forge 007 DV / N75 Race / BMC OTA / KW V1 Coilovers / Whiteline Front&Rear Swaybars + Toe-In Shim / Weichers Front&Rear Strut Braces / Full Non-Res Milltek Exhaust / 17" Bora Sport
