What did you do to your Polo today?

Got the windows tinted today, looks much smarter with dark windows now. Hopefully the haze and small bubbled bits will clear pretty quickly in Melbourne's current heat wave.

Nearly had a heart attack though when I saw black 'scrapes' all over my rear bumper after the tinting

Luckily it was only glue and wiped off with some isopropyl alcohol without leaving any damage, or else there would have been a case of

Tinted windows makes the Polo so much sexier. My mates missus has a red one without tint, we put them side by side and mine just ROCKS!

Yeah makes a huge visual difference, especially on the silver cars, adds a nice contrast.

The other day at Seb's we were mucking round with the DV, tried the other way round, no diff. But it made this strange short whistle that I didn't like, we also cable tied the small vacuum hose at both ends.

Came home this arvo, waited for it to cool down and swapped it back the right way, car is MUCH better now. Will see how it goes tomorrow morning but it feels like it's boosting properly and has full powa.

yeah that is the plan. one of dads mates is really knowledgable about cars so he and i will do it probably next weekend.

Spent a nice couple of hours washing and detailing mine for the first time

P21S wheel cleaner, 2 bucket wash, towel dry, aquawaxed, QD'd the spots I missed, cleaned the glass, vacuumed inside, 303 Aerospaced the plastic exterior bits

Thanks to Waxit and Carcareproducts for their extremely fast service, bought over $200 worth of nice stuff!

going to drop my car off at jimmys this afternoon. can wait to see what she looks/feels like aftre the suspension, front and rear sway bars, drop links, control arm bushes and new south power gasket ( not sure on this will effect performance but ill give it a go ) are installed.

Installed the APR engine mount insert, the engine vibrates a lot less and the car feels more powerful in 3rd (illusion?)......

Got the FPR, stage 2 software next week....

Btw, Derek at European autotech is awesome! Great service and experience... Recommended to everyone here!! (a bit far from my place tho....)
